Q. What types of English courses do you offer?
We specialize in Business English, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), Legal English, exam preparation (IELTS, Cambridge, etc.), and English for Young Learners (EYL). Our courses cover a range of industries, including finance, tourism, HR, aviation, marketing, and more. This list is what we mainly offer, but if you have specific requirements either for yourself or your company/organization, please feel free to speak with us and we will do our very best to help you.
Q. Are your courses suitable for beginners?
Yes, we work with beginners (A.0) in our Young Learners courses, and while our Business English and ESP courses are more suitable for B1 upward, we can arrange a combination of General- and Business English courses for adults with a lower level. If you’re just starting, please feel very welcome to talk with us, and we’ll get you started on the right program for you.
Q. How are your courses delivered?
All of our courses are delivered online, mainly using WebEx or MS Teams, allowing you to learn from anywhere, at any time. We use a mix of live trainer sessions and continued access to a range of flexible learning materials to ensure you get the maximum benefit.
Q. Do your courses teach grammar? What about vocabulary?
Communication skills are our main focus, and grammar and vocabulary are an essential part of this. We do not, however, teach those in isolation. Language learning is like driving a car: grammar is the workings of the car and vocabulary is the rules of the road, but the most important part is the practical skill of driving, combining these with fluency – your driving practice! Of course, when important grammar issues arise, we deal with them fully, and vocab acquisition is an ongoing part of our language training.
Q. How long are the courses?
Course lengths vary depending on the program and your specific needs. We offer both short, intensive courses and longer ones where you meet your trainer once or twice a week. You can choose a plan that fits your schedule and goals.
Q. How long are the trainer sessions?
Sessions can be as short as a 30-minute ‘espresso’ session, but generally, they are either one hour (recommended for lower-level learners) or 90 minutes (recommended for B1+). Some exam preparation sessions are two hours.
Q. Can I take a course if I have a busy work schedule?
Yes! Our courses are designed to be flexible, with recorded materials available for you to access whenever works best for you. Regarding live trainer sessions, we will do very our best to accommodate your schedule. You can easily learn at your own pace, fitting study around your professional commitments.
Q. Do you offer corporate training for companies?
Absolutely. In fact, we work with major corporate clients, and if you are a manager seeking to add value to your team, we will be very happy to discuss a suitable package with you and design a suitable training program. We offer tailored training programs for businesses, including group lessons, workshops, and specialized courses for teams in specific industries. Included among our clients are banks, insurance companies, law firms, media & advertising, and industry, as well as clients from the hospitality and catering sector (HoReCa).
Q. How do I know which course is right for me?
We offer a free consultation with one of our trainers, who will assess your needs and recommend the best course based on your goals, industry, schedule and language level.
Q. What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
We understand that schedules change. Our flexible rescheduling options allow you to book another session if something comes up. Just let us know in advance as much as you can, and we’ll accommodate your needs. Remember, we are flexible because we know you need to be!
Q. Do you offer exam preparation courses?
Yes, very much so. We provide exam preparation for a variety of certifications, including IELTS, Cambridge, BEC, TOLES, and certain specialized industry exams. Our prep courses focus on skills, strategies, and practice to help you succeed.
Q. Do you offer in-person courses or training sessions?
Normally, our training is provided online because this option is more cost-effective and convenient for everyone. We are, however, open to organizing intensive courses – particularly for groups – at your business premises by arrangement. If you would like to organize such a course, why not contact us and we can take it from there?
Q. What happens if I miss a group session?
If you miss a live session, you can access the recording afterward. Additionally, we provide materials and activities to help you catch up on any missed content.
Q. How do I get started?
Getting started is easy! Just contact us for a consultation, and we’ll guide you through choosing the right course and scheduling your first session.
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments via credit card and bank transfer. Details are provided when you register for a course.
