Online Training Quality Assurance (QA) Policy

  1. Purpose

The QA policy ensures that all SkillsBar.eu online training programs:

  • Deliver consistently high-quality language and communication training
  • Meet the needs and expectations of both individual and corporate clients
  • Provide measurable improvements in learners’ skills and confidence
  • Maintain a professional, modern, and engaging learning experience
  1. Scope

This QA policy applies to:

  • All live online training sessions (including Business English, ESP, practical communication skills)
  • All training materials (incl. articles, lesson plans, exercises/worksheets, presentations, downloadable resources)
  • Trainer performance, learner satisfaction, and platform functionality
  • Course development and updates (e.g. industry-specific modules such as Legal English or Finance)
  1. QA Objectives
  • Content Quality: Ensure lessons are relevant, accurate, and aligned with learners’ professional contexts
  • Trainer Competence: Maintain a skilled, well-trained team of trainers with expertise in business communication and teaching methodologies
  • Consistency: Deliver a uniform learning experience regardless of trainer or course type
  • Client Feedback Loop: Continuously collect and act on feedback from learners and HR managers
  • Measurable Results: Track learner progress and provide clear performance indicators (e.g. pre/post assessments)
  1. QA Roles & Responsibilities
  • Training Manager (You/Lead Trainer):
    • Approves all new course content
    • Conducts periodic trainer audits (observing sessions, reviewing feedback)
  • Trainers:
    • Follow SkillsBar structured lesson templates and best practices
    • Provide personalized feedback to learners and record attendance/progress
    • Participate in twice yearly peer reviews
  • Quality Reviewer (Could be you or a senior trainer):
    • Conducts random session reviews (recorded or live observation)
    • Ensures adherence to SkillsBar teaching style, tone, and professionalism
  • Client Account Manager:
    • Monitors client satisfaction (corporate and individual)
    • Collects feedback and manages improvements
  1. QA Processes

A. Pre-Delivery QA

  1. All new lesson plans and materials are peer-reviewed
  2. Vocabulary, roleplay tasks, and case studies are updated to reflect current business trends and industries (e.g. AI in business, tariffs, negotiation tactics)
  3. Technical checks (Zoom/Teams stability, breakout rooms, interactive tools

B. In-Session QA

  1. Use of a SkillsBar Session Checklist (e.g. clear learning objectives, active participation, practical scenarios)
  2. Trainers ensure balanced interaction: speaking, listening, and real-world tasks
  3. Sessions are sometimes recorded (if permitted) for review and feedback

C. Post-Session QA (Feedback Loop)

  1. Simple, immediate feedback from learners (2-3 questions max: relevance, trainer clarity, engagement)
  2. Monthly progress reports for corporate clients and learners on long-term courses
  3. Trainers log session outcomes and learner progress into SkillsBar tracking system

D. Continuous QA (Quarterly)

  • Trainer Peer Reviews: Each trainer attends another trainer’s session and gives constructive feedback
  • Content Refresh: Industry-specific modules reviewed for relevance (e.g. Legal English updates based on recent EU cases)
  • Client Review Meetings: With corporate clients (HR managers) to assess ROI and satisfaction

  • Learner satisfaction rate (goal: >90% positive feedback)
  • Attendance and completion rates (goal: >85%)
  • Skills improvement tracking (measured via pre- and post-course self-assessments)
  • Trainer performance scores (based on peer reviews and learner feedback)
  1. Continuous Improvement
  • Monthly review of feedback to identify patterns (e.g. requests for more roleplays or advanced negotiation vocabulary)
  • Ongoing trainer development: workshops, webinars, and micro-trainings on new trends in Business English and online facilitation
  • Annual QA review to refine processes, tools, and metrics
  1. Complaints & Issue Resolution
  • All complaints are logged and addressed within 5 working days.
  • Training Manager reviews trainer issues and provides coaching where needed
  • Major content or delivery issues trigger an internal review and corrective action (e.g. revising material, offering a complimentary session)
